Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders under the direction of a physician. They are responsible for life support system initiation and management, patient care delivery, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. RRTs need to demonstrate excellent compliance, patient care skills, and the ability to function independently with guidance.
Requirements
- Obtain, analyze, and interpret arterial samples.
- Maintain competency in arterial line insertion, intubation, and advanced ventilation.
- Adhere to department and hospital policies and procedures.
