2nd shift Set- Up Technician - (Mold Technician)

The Mold Technician is responsible for setting up and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. The position will work closely with production teams to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that production runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Maintain a safe work environment
• Develop the molding process for each tool to run optimum cycle times while producing high quality products
• Improve Quality of Products molded through improvements to the molding process
• Reduce costs through reduction of scrap rates on each tool
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently
• Work closely with production teams to ensure that equipment is set up to meet production needs
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Responsible for following plant specified job specification, task list and completion of all requirement paperwork
• Responsible for conducting him/herself in a safe manner and adhering to all required safety protocols and policies, including lockout/tagout
