Job Description
Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology. We're seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead design efforts for crucial parts of our iron-air battery integrated structures.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, leading design work for complex mechanical systems and structural design
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD), specifically SolidWorks modeling and drafting using GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Proficient in component design for mass manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
- Proficient with prototyping techniques and working in a machine shop environment
- Familiarity with mechanical verification testing
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems, power electronics, or batteries is a plus
