Continuous Improvement Engineer

Formic is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across deployed robotic systems. The role involves gathering customer and field feedback, analyzing deployment and operational workflows, and implementing structured improvements to increase reliability, standardization, and customer impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, industrial engineering, or a related technical environment
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate ambiguous field feedback into clear, actionable improvement plans
• Comfort working in manufacturing, robotics, or industrial environments
• Ability to influence without direct authority across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured improvement methodologies
