Job Description
Formic is a start-up that delivers automation through a Robotics-as-a-Service model. The company is seeking a Robotics Field Service Engineer to join their Fleet Operations Team. The role involves diagnosing failures, restoring systems to production, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic manufacturing cells.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on field service experience supporting robotic or industrial automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, PLC, or robotic control systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic drawings
- Experience using CMMS platforms to track and report maintenance activity
- Comfortable with local travel up to 80% and overnight travel up to 50%
