Formic is a company that offers a Robotics-as-a-Service model to make automation accessible to every factory. The company is scaling rapidly and looking for a Robotics Field Service Engineer to join the Fleet Operations Team. The role will involve diagnosing failures, restoring systems to production, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic manufacturing cells.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on field service experience supporting robotic or industrial automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, PLC, or robotic control systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic drawings
- Experience using CMMS platforms to track and report maintenance activity
- Comfortable with local travel up to 80% and overnight travel up to 50%
- Clear written and verbal communicator capable of producing structured service documentation
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and disciplined field execution
