Job Description
Formic is a company that delivers automation through a Robotics-as-a-Service model. As a Robotics Field Service Engineer, you will diagnose and resolve issues, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and support production environments. You will represent Formic directly at customer sites and work to ensure systems remain reliable and continuously improving.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on field service experience supporting robotic or industrial automation equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and PLC or robotic control systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic drawings
- Experience using CMMS platforms to track and report maintenance activity
- Comfortable with local travel up to 80% and overnight travel up to 50%
- Clear written and verbal communicator capable of producing structured service reports
- Strong adherence to safety standards including LOTO and industrial compliance practices
