Assistant Coach, Women's Volleyball

The Assistant Coach, Women's Volleyball position at Fort Lewis College is responsible for administering all aspects of the volleyball program, including skill instruction, practice, and training schedules. The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to drive up to 15-passenger van/bus. The successful candidate will be required to submit official transcripts and pass a background check.

Requirements

• Organizing and conducting skill instruction, practice, and training schedules
• Effectively manage relationships with student-athletes, coaches, and the broader campus community
• Strategize and meet recruiting goals along with all other aspects of the evaluation of prospective student-athletes
• Provide appropriate leadership in practice and competitive environments
• Conduct sound fiscal management, and participate in fundraising activities supporting the program
• Ensure a quality student-athlete experience through community engagement, campus involvement, and competitive achievement
• Monitor academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes
• Establish positive relationships with support staff
• Assist in planning as well as participate in volleyball camps and clinics
• Represent the volleyball program as designated by the head coach
• Assist the Athletic Business office as assigned
