Job Description
Fortinet is seeking a Staff Software Dev QA Engineer to support the development and improve the reliability of its FortiADC product. The role involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, building automated test processes, and collaborating with development and QA teams. Responsibilities include integrating new tools and addressing product risks.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in network product QA testing
- In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, OSPF, BGP)
- Strong experience with test automation using Python, Shell scripting, and Robot Framework
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Hands-on experience with traffic generation and benchmarking tools
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices
- Experience with private cloud platforms (VMware, KVM)
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
