Job Description
Fortis Games is seeking a talented Lead Technical Artist to shape the technical foundations of their art pipelines across multiple projects. The role involves architecting scalable systems, designing new tools, and mentoring senior ICs to foster innovation and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tackling difficult problems and contributing to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Technical Artist in game development
- Expertise across Unity and DCC tools (Blender, Substance, Maya, Photoshop)
- Strong programming/scripting skills in C# and Python
- Mastery of mobile performance optimization and rendering pipelines (URP)
- Hands-on experience with advanced workflows (e.g., procedural generation, AI-assisted art, real-time rendering)
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and guiding Sr. ICs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
