Requirements
- Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local state and city codes.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, controls equipment, and fixtures, and apparatus.
- Tests continuity of circuit to electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devises, such as ohmmeters, battery and buzzer, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, sign test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and corrects the problem.
