Senior Associate, Investment Accounting

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Senior Associate, Investment Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling monthly and quarterly investment data, performing analytical reviews, and supporting regulatory filings.

Requirements

• Support the accounting close process
• Prepare journal entries and corresponding balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform analytical review of investment income, yields, and realized/unrealized gains and losses
• Assist in implementation and onboarding of new investment portfolios
• Support regulatory filings and ad hoc requests
• Execution of internal control procedures
• Provide detailed investments data for Economic Balance Sheet calculations
• Monitor and resolve issues related to investment suspense account balances
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control frameworks
• Perform variance analysis and investigative procedures
• Liaise with internal and external audit teams
• Lead the private equity operations process
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in system enhancements and automation implementation
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures and process documentation
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics
