Commodity Manager

We are recruiting a Commodity Manager to join our Procurement team at Industrial Scientific. The Commodity Manager will be responsible for managing and providing leadership for global spend within the Mechanical parts commodity.

Requirements

• Develop high-efficiency, high-quality domestic and/or global sources of supply for materials and services.
• Manage the supply base through supplier scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
• Manage commodity spend using procurement processes & systems.
• Negotiate, implement, and manage contracts.
• Able to project manage a cross-functional team, including suppliers, to successfully implement a commodity strategy, cost savings initiative, or transition a source of supply.
