
Job description
Commodity Manager will be accountable for implementation of the sourcing strategies using global strategic sourcing teams. The role will be responsible for productivity based on annual spend with assigned commodity. The Manager will report to the SOURCING MANAGER, and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Develop and implement the sourcing strategy using input from Global Sourcing Managers and Global Business Leaders. Guide implementation of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance of the suppliers related to assigned commodities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in an Economical or Commercial field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in Procurement in Manufacturing or Industrial Environment. The candidate should be able to identify and improve productivity improvements by leading joint supplier/unit teams, and have knowledge of Indirect Commodities – Fleet, Travel, Logistics, Software.
