Operations Supervisor

Forward Air is looking for a capable and dedicated Operations Supervisor to coordinate dockworkers, drivers, and support personnel. The supervisor will plan, direct, and control resources for timely and safe loading/unloading of freight.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of management experience in a high-volume, fast distribution environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
• Previous route planning experience
• Prior air freight experience
• International/Import experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Knowledge of proper freight handling techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations
