The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a BA/MA student to work on the development of a KI-based process for extreme high-speed laser beam welding. The successful candidate will work in a creative, interdisciplinary environment and have the opportunity to design the digitalization of the process and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Technical or natural science course such as mechanical engineering, materials science, or computer science
- Interest in technical problems in applied research
- Responsible, independent, and structured working method
- Knowledge in additive manufacturing, laser technology, or programming (NC, Python, C, etc.) is desirable but not a must
