Job Description
The Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI is seeking a Bioprocess Engineer for GMP Biopharmaceuticals with a focus on Downstream Processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing complex projects in the GMP field, designing and implementing new Downstream processes, and providing technical guidance to technical staff.
Requirements
- A successfully completed university degree in natural or engineering sciences
- Practical experience with work in a clean room (up to and including clean room class A) and under GMP conditions
- Good knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the GMP field
- Experience in the development of processes for chromatography, filtrations, tangential flow filtration, and virus concentration
- Safely handling equipment for chromatographic purification and filtration of biomolecules
