Job Description
The Fraunhofer Institute for Optronics, System Technology and Image Evaluation IOSB is seeking a Chemical or Physical Technical Assistant to support research and development in the field of crystal processing. The position is located at the Ettlingen site and involves manufacturing laser-optical components from crystalline materials, optimizing procedures for processing crystals, and supporting the cultivation of optical crystals.
Requirements
- Completed training as a chemical-technical assistant or physical-technical assistant
- Experience in processing hard, brittle materials
- Careful and accurate work, a high level of technical understanding and craftsmanship
- Knowledge of chemistry and adjacent natural sciences
- Very good German (C1/C2 level) and good English (at least B1 level)
