As a research and development partner for industry, the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems IMS develops customized microelectronic circuits, microsystems, and sensors for specific requirements of our research and industry partners. The Semiconductor Integration Technologies group develops detectors and sensor systems for industries from aerospace to medical technology.

Requirements

• Master's degree in the field of electrical engineering, physics, nanoengineering or comparable
• First-class knowledge in micro- and semiconductor technology (preferably in the field of microelectronics and microsystem technology) with relevant work experience
• Comprehensive experience in leading research and development projects
• Experience in acquiring third-party funding projects (BMBF, EU, or comparable) and/or industrial projects
• Ideal first experience in managing employees
• Adaptability, to be able to adjust to changes in the research landscape, as well as the ability to implement own visions into the research tasks
• Good communication and presentation skills in German and English
