Master-/Bachelor-/Semesterarbeit: Automatisiertes Nesting von Bauteilen für den 3D-Druck

The Fraunhofer Society is looking for a student assistant to work on an automated nesting of parts for 3D printing project. The position involves developing an algorithm for the automated arrangement of complex components, implementing logic for maximum utilization of the build space, and considering production planning and realization of suitable interfaces. The ideal candidate has studies in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar, secure handling of Python or C++, and basic knowledge in 3D printing.
