Job Description
The Fraunhofer Society is seeking a master's thesis candidate to further develop a Lab-on-a-Disc system for point-of-care diagnostics. The candidate will work on the adaptation of the disc design, selection of new components, programming of the analysis device, and isolation of EVs from cell culture samples and human samples.
Requirements
- Studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical technology, biotechnology, or a comparable field of study
- First knowledge of Python programming or control programming is an advantage
- First experience with laboratory work is ideal
- Independent working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary team work
- Good language skills in German and/or English
