The Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials is looking for student assistants to work on their thesis, practical work or internships in the field of universal end effectors for demounting. The position involves research and development projects for sustainable mobility of the future.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Materials Science or a comparable degree
- Independent, structured and result-oriented work style
- Excellent knowledge of German and/or English (min. C1 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of product development and CAD tools (e.g. Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor) and/or application of measurement techniques and instrumentation
- Ideally experience with the integration of mechatronic components (integration of linear/delta drives in mechanisms)
