The Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology seeks engaged students to create a thesis/master thesis, for student assistant tasks or internships in the field of "Universal End-Effectors for Demounting". Students will engage with their own ideas in interesting research projects and contribute to the Circular Economy.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable course of study
- Independent, structured, and result-oriented working method
- Excellent German and/or English skills in word and writing (min. C1 or comparable)
- Knowledge of product development and CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) and/or application of measuring techniques and instrumentation (advantageous)
- Ideally experience with the integration of mechatronic components (integration of linear/directional drives in mechanisms)
