The Fraunhofer Institute for Communication, Information Processing and Ergonomics FKIE is seeking two Scientific Collaborators in the field of Cognitive Mobile Robotics. The role involves developing efficient algorithms, analyzing and evaluating current mobile robotics procedures, and implementing complex experiments with single and multi-robot systems.

Requirements

• Successfully completed scientific studies in engineering, natural sciences or a comparable course of study
• Proven practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of mobile robotics or cognitive mobile systems
• Secure programming knowledge in C++ or Python
• Experience in software development with the Robot Operating System (ROS) under Linux
• Very good German and English language skills in word and writing
