Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to study molecular pathogenesis and therapeutic strategies associated with two promising cell cycle targets in head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC). The position will involve working collaboratively with other Fred Hutch research groups within the HNSCC team.

Requirements

• PhD, M.D., or M.D., Ph. D (or equivalent degree) in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, or a related field
• Broad expertise in cell and molecular biology methods and the ability to master new techniques and approaches
• Experience with mouse models and xenografting is preferred
• Experience in functional genomics and/or drug screening also preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Record of productive and rigorous research, including at least one primary publication in an impactful peer-reviewed journal
• Ability to independently plan, conduct, and analyze research
