Seeking a Stationary Engineer to work on an as needed basis. The Plant Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the boiler plant and auxiliary equipment, performing inspections, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and repair as required.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic 480 volt, 3 phase motor control circuits utilizing electrical test equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings
- Ability to maintain and repair ventilation and temperature control systems including programmable controllers
- Proficiency with the use of a computer including Microsoft Office, Energy Management and Maintenance Management software
- Skilled with all types of hand and power tools
- Valid Maryland 1st Class Engineer’s license or 2nd Class Engineer and four (4) years’ experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of high-pressure boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers and auxiliary plant equipment
- Patient Contact: Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skills in providing appropriate care/contact for patients in the following age groups
- Lifting up to 75 pounds on an infrequent basis (less than one lift every three minutes) and/or carrying up to 35 pounds while walking
- Pushing or pulling up to 115 pounds infrequently or greater than 115 pounds occasionally (no more than once per hour)
