As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will play a critical role in the post processing of 3D printed parts for the world's most additive manufacturing systems. You will own everything required to go from finished print to shipping parts out to customers, including powder handling, EDM operation, support removal, surface finishing, inspection, and more.
Requirements
- Operate, maintain, and monitor machinery such as wire EDMs, surface grinders, sand blasters, deburring tools, bandsaws and handle metal powders
- Post process printed parts including depowering, precision cleaning, removing supports, and surface-finishing
- Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline post processing operations to enable mass production
- Help turnover builds, ensuring powders, tools, and equipment are available at all times
- Assist with visual inspection and shipment of final parts
