Job Description
Freeman Boatworks is seeking a skilled Cut & Grind Technician to work on premium offshore fishing boats. The role involves grinding, sanding, cleaning, and polishing surfaces to address defects and prepare parts for further finishing. Duties include drilling holes, measuring, and inspecting completed parts. Requires working in a fast-paced, noisy fiberglass environment.
Requirements
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools and a tape measure
- Ability to work in a fiberglass dust environment
- Physical demands: lifting up to 50lbs and working a 10-hour shift (including overtime)
- Cautious and efficient work in potentially hazardous conditions
