FRIENDS of Broomfield is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to oversee the coordination and management of day-to-day residential program needs for an assigned caseload of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will provide person-centered supports, recruit and train Host Home Providers and Family Caregivers, and ensure contract compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5+ years' experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Social work or human services experience a plus
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Ability to perform basic computer operations – Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, Excel worksheets, Internet, email, and Therap
- Pass a criminal background and CAPS check
- Possess a valid Colorado driver's license and ability to meet reporting agency's driving requirements
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation, records, and reports
- Willingness and ability to work as a team player
- Ability to work in a flexible and constantly changing work environment, and to deal effectively with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations
- Ability and willingness to safely lift 50-75 lbs
- Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise
