The company is seeking an experienced legal leader to serve as Head of Legal, overseeing and managing all legal, regulatory, and risk-related matters for the company.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior legal role, preferably in the healthcare technology or behavioral health sectors.
- Proven experience in navigating M&A transactions and complex business negotiations in high-growth environments.
- Deep expertise in healthcare law, including compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Medicaid/Medicare, and state-specific healthcare regulations.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to partner with executives and provide proactive, solution-oriented legal counsel on strategic decisions.
- In-depth experience managing corporate governance, compliance programs, and risk management strategies.
- Expertise in privacy and data security law, particularly in healthcare-related contexts.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues in clear, actionable terms.
- Track record of successfully leading legal teams and external counsel in achieving business objectives.
- Ability to manage a broad range of legal matters while aligning legal strategy with overall business goals.
- Strong crisis management skills and the ability to navigate high-pressure situations with strategic foresight.
- Experience with the application of AI in Healthcare is strongly preferred.
