Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience as a Physician Assistant
- Experience conducting a variety of procedures including I&Ds, suturing, suture removal, skin biopsies, IVs, women’s health, and men’s health
- Family practice, internal medicine and/or primary care experience
- Experience managing care for all ages
- Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software
- Active and unrestricted DEA or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and customers
