Frontiers is seeking a Peer Review Operations Manager to optimize workflow and processes within a dedicated sub-team handling peer review of scholarly journals. The role aims to enhance team productivity, drive continuous improvement, and support departmental strategic projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an operational/process driven role within a target-led commercial organization
- Proven experience within a publishing role, with an understanding of the changes and challenges facing academic publishing
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
- Sound and mature judgement, tactful when liaising with multiple stakeholders
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly
- Strong organizational skills, ability to digest large amounts of information and react to urgent situations
- Initiative taking, dynamic and focused personality
