Requirements
- Comfortable driving for long periods and driving bigger vehicles, like box trucks
- Extensive activism experience
- Leadership skills
- Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to initiate conversations about animal rights and communicate effectively with a variety of people
- Ability to work well with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Interest/experience with working with young students, a plus for TeachKind Tours
- Prepared and able to commit to working outside in all weather conditions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Problem-solving abilities and responsible judgment is a must
- Adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for several hours at a time
- Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver's license and passport, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
- DOT medical card required (If you do not have one, you will need to take the DOT physical.)
- Commitment to the objectives of the organization
