As a Service Technician, you will perform moderate level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches etc. You will also work cross-functionally with engineering teams to provide support for failure analysis initiatives and maintain excellent working relationships with our customer service representatives.
Requirements
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic/mechanical devices
- Perform break-fix preventative maintenance by observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problem, dismantling devices to gain access for the removal and repair or replacement of defective parts
- Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary
- Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines
- Perform rework and repair with strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Install and configure component software
- Perform final functional testing to ensure product quality and reliability meet the highest standards
- Perform inventory transactions and ensure inventory accuracy
- Assembly creation and repair
- Create Non-Conformance Reports and follow Return to Vendor processes
- Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system
- Cross train in operational processes to sustain departmental objectives
- Ensures a safe, clean and organized work environment and complies with 5S and housekeeping practices (5S)
