The Financial Aid Student Advisor is responsible for counseling undergraduate students, graduate students, and their families regarding various financing options and assisting them in securing federal and alternative funding for tuition.
Requirements
- Educate and assist students and parents in the process of securing federal and alternative funding for tuition, while ensuring a positive service experience
- Communicate with students and families to assess needs relating to financial aid
- Maintain current knowledge of all Title IV regulations and institutional policies, as well as enforcing college, state, and federal policies
- Assist students and parents in completion of financial aid forms to include FAFSA and verification requirements
- Assist students and parents in the process of federal and educational loan applications
