Works with teachers and students in schools to improve the quality of teaching and student learning in core content areas.
Requirements
- Assists teachers and grade level teams with implementation of the Georgia standards
- Works with teachers to improve classroom management and climate
- Analyzes student and teacher data to determine teaching and learning effectiveness
- Recommends best practices to achieve desired student learning outcomes
- Coordinates site-based professional learning activities
- Conducts professional development at the school
- Utilizes the coaching cycle to support teacher development
- Exhibits knowledge of performance-based instruction and assessment
- Participates in periodic professional learning activities
