Job Description
Community Outreach Specialist (Temp) at FPHNYC. Conduct outreach to local businesses, build relationships with residents, provide harm reduction and overdose-prevention education, and distribute materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, community health, or related field
- Prior experience in community outreach, harm reduction, peer education, public health, or social services
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse community settings
- Familiarity with overdose-prevention strategies and community-based health education practices
- Lived experience that informs a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to engagement
