Job Description
The Security Clearance and Polygraph Engineer is responsible for integrating and sustaining various software systems, working in an Agile DevOps Unix environment. They will work with COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, update them for sustainment, and maintain documentation. The role requires proficiency in scripting and system administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous OS
- 5+ years of Computer Science related work, or a Master's Degree
- Industry recognized professional certification (1 yr exp.)
- Master's Degree (2 yr exp.)
- Unix CLI experience
- Script development using Bash/Python
- Experience with system integration (install, configuration, sustainment)
- Experience with Apache NiFi
- Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB)
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (Ansible, SaltStack)
- Programming Languages (Go, Java)
- Metrics Visualization technologies (Grafana, Kabana)
- Atlassian product suite (Confluence, Jira)
- Git Source Control System
