Job Description
Mate/Mate in Training responsible for the safe operation and navigation of the vessel, performing duties such as inspecting and maintaining equipment, assisting in deck maintenance, and conducting general housekeeping.
Requirements
- Hold a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) endorsed as Mate of Towing Vessels or Mate of vessels greater than 200 gross registered tons
- Hold a valid TWIC issued by the Transportation Security Administration
- Ability to perform all functions with or without reasonable accommodation as based on ADA requirements
