Heat Treat Operator

The Heat Treat Operator will perform operations within the Heat Treat area as assigned, including furnace maintenance, small part processing, and loading/unloading parts. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 1st shift shift and a pay range starting at $23.31/hour. The role requires a commitment to industrial work and potentially requires a unionized position.

Requirements

• Conduct light duty maintenance to keep furnaces operational
• Read and follow work tickets accurately
• Transfer parts between work orders and furnaces
• Set furnace cycles, atmospheric conditions, and monitor process progress
• Use computer skills for Microsoft Word & Excel
• Mechanical aptitude, ability to understand work instructions
• Basic understanding of GD&T and drawing reading skills
• Machine tool/inspection tool experience
• Insertion tooling nomenclature
• Good communication skills and teamwork
