Heat Treat Operator and Maintenance

The Heat Treat Operator and Maintenance role involves performing operations in the heat treat area, including maintaining furnaces and parts processing. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong understanding of work instructions and GD&T principles. Part of this may involve working with chemicals and heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Conduct light duty maintenance on furnaces
• Read and execute work tickets
• Transfer parts to furnaces using a hoist
• Set furnace cycles and monitor progress
• Unload parts from furnaces
• Quality control of copper plate parts
• Charging/discharging chromizing furnaces
• Maintaining appropriate documentation
• Occasionally loading into -100°F freezer
