Job Description
Gain is seeking a Senior Intelligence Originator to join their Intelligence Origination team in the US. The role involves sourcing proprietary, off-record insights on live private equity related transactions, building a network of trusted sources, and extracting intelligence on deals to feed into the Gain platform.
Requirements
- Build and maintain a network of sources - including bankers, sponsors, lenders, lawyers, consultants, and other advisors
- Conduct daily off-record, high-trust conversations to surface non-public insights on deal activity
- Identify and monitor live and upcoming M&A transactions
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of junior reporters
- Collaborate closely with in-house analysts and research teams
- Support the expansion of real-time transaction pipeline and contribute to internal market intelligence sharing
