Professional Tax Accountant

Join Gainwell Technologies as a Professional Tax Accountant to assist with indirect tax functions, including accounting, financial reporting, and sales/use tax compliance. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and software such as Vertex. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on indirect taxes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with focus on indirect taxes including property tax, sales and use tax and unclaimed property
• Experience working with tax research, tax laws, tax forms and processing
• Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases
• Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft and/or SAP
