Job Description
SBA Communications is seeking a Tax Accountant II to join its team. The role involves accurate sales and use tax multi-state tax compliance, reporting and property tax compliance, with a focus on Vertex Tax software and state and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Vertex Tax software and a strong understanding of state and local tax regulations.
Requirements
- High School or GED Required. AA, BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred
- 5+ years of sales and tax experience
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Vertex tax software required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a Team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
