Job Description
Gandara is seeking a Housing Coordinator to oversee the Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing Programs in Franklin County, working with young adults and families experiencing homelessness. The position involves case management, advocacy, and outreach, as well as data entry and reporting.
Requirements
- Associates degree and/or 3 years of experience in homeless services
- Supervision experience
- Experience working with pregnant and parenting adults
- Ability to work effectively with other community agencies
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving
- Ability to structure and organize job responsibilities independently
- Ability to deal with diverse population
- Ability to maintain client files and electronic records
- Knowledge of HMIS preferred
- Ability to actively market and promote services
- Commitment to racial equity and inclusive practices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
