Job Description
This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting hurricane response efforts in Florida by providing essential care and assistance to individuals affected by the disaster within a shelter setting.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Florida CNA license
- Must possess a valid CPR/BLS card
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, volunteers, and patients
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be prepared to deploy to disaster-affected areas, often with short notice
