Job Description
Estimator position available at Garney Construction in McKinney, TX. Previous estimating experience, preferably in water, wastewater or industrial markets, is required. Estimator will prepare contingency and risk analysis, analyze estimate data, and communicate bid information to field operations.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience
- Estimating experience with at-risk self-performing contracts is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and understanding specifications
- Ability to review take-off quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates
