Job Description
Estimator position available at Garney Construction in Charlotte, NC. Must have previous estimating experience, preferably in water, wastewater, or industrial markets. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience
- Estimating experience with at-risk self-performing contracts
- Ability to provide conceptual estimates from limited information
- Proficiency interpreting construction drawings and understanding specifications
- Review take-off quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates
