A Pipelayer job in Suffolk, VA is available through Garney Construction, assembling, installing, and repairing underground pipes and fittings.
Requirements
- Two years of experience installing large diameter pipes for water, sewer, storm drain.
- Experience in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications to determine work procedure.
- Ability to work on their feet for an entire day and perform assigned tasks.
- Willingness to complete certifications provided by Garney, including "Rigging and Signaling Certification", "Confined Space Training Certification", and OSHA 10 hour.
- Willingness to work overtime.
