Job Description
Garney Construction is seeking a Regional Operations Manager in Austin, TX to oversee construction operations and business performance. This role involves leading Area Managers, ensuring safety and quality, managing budget and schedule, and collaborating with executive leadership. The regional manager will be responsible for regional strategy, acquisition, and long-term planning while maintaining client relationships.
Requirements
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of construction operations, estimating, scheduling, risk management, and safety programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and strong business acumen
- High emotional intelligence with ability to lead through change
- Familiarity with collaborative delivery models (e.g., CMAR, Progressive Design-Build)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
